Xbox:
If your Xbox controller won't power on, try these solutions:
- Replace the AA batteries or your rechargeable kit in your Xbox controller.
- Check the charger on your Xbox One Play & Charge Kit.
- Try using a USB cable.
- Disconnect all accessories plugged into your Xbox console as there may be a device conflict.
- Power cycle your Xbox One console.
If these solutions did not solve the problem try connecting your controller to a different console. If the controller works on another console, there is probably an issue with your console. If it doesn’t work on another console, please contact our Support team at Toll-Free 888 909 5908 or email support@megamodz.com or Live Chat to us.
NOTE: If your controller comes with custom Xbox button instead of stock one, you won’t be able to see light coming through Xbox button since custom buttons are not transparent. In this case, you will need to perform sync either by connecting your controller to your console via USB to mini USB cable; or by following steps from above in a dark room to be able to see the light coming through Xbox button edges. It is a one-time procedure and your controller will automatically sync to your console next time you power it on.
PlayStation:
If your PS4 controller won't power on, try these solutions:
- Make sure the battery is well charged by plugging the controller to charge until it’s at 100% power.
- Make sure the charging port is not broken by connecting the cable to another controller. Please replace the cable if unable to charge another controller as well.
