Why does my character start spinning in circles?

This issue can happen to PlayStation controllers, doesn’t happen to Xbox products.

 There are 2 factors that can cause the issue:

1. Your controller needs to be reset. Perform reset to factory default.
2. Your console needs to be restarted. Turn your console off, unplug from the outlet and plug it back it in 30 sec.
